Makes 20-25 bars

390g sweetened condensed milk

For Chocolate Topping:
200g milk chocolate
1. First prepare the crust, cream the butter and sugar together then add flour and salt into the cream mixture. This should be crumbly and mixture should hold together when squeezed.
On a baking tray with high sides lined with parchment paper (easy to have clean bottom) press the crusts into the bottom of the pan using back of a spoon and even the crust. Bake this in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180C/350F. Leave it to cool slightly.
2. For the caramel,
(make the caramel while the baked crust cools). In a saucepan add in all the ingredients stir it well and place the saucepan in medium heat. Stir the mixture frequently, bring to a boil and continue cooking for 5-7 minutes. (Stirring the mixture frequently is very important otherwise you will end up with caramel crumbs)
Now you have a thick caramel mixture, pour this evenly over the baked crust and bake this for 10-15 minutes at 180C/350F.
Allow to cool slightly.
3. Double boil or microwave the chocolate and spread the melted chocolate over the baked caramel. And refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
For more garnish you can spread desiccated coconut, sprinkles or m&m’s before chocolate sets.

A lady with a tensed situation came to a private hospital. It was at the ICU; hopefully the patient was taken inside. Everybody was in hurry, but nothing I noticed big.
A little later we realized that a minor accident had happened to that lady’s husband, that something had accidently pricked his eye. As usual nurses and the doctors were running here and there, while the treatment was going on. This happens usually at hospitals.
It’s a very quick and yummy desert…

That was quite busy working day. I realized that my kids at school are feeling stressed after a bulk of works. So I requested those little buddies to pull out there drawing books and draw a free art, just to let their minds and pens flow on the paper. This means, that I didn’t give them a topic to draw which will surely make them more stressful, perhaps more creative.

The lesson was about writing “My Self”. After explaining I asked my kiddies to write down one. As they are still grade 2 I wrote a sample and I asked them to fill the blanks with their details.
With lots of fun happily the activity came to an end. The red ink moved as tick and cross on all the books. Most of the blanks were filled, some were still blank. Some were crazy answers and some made laugh the extreme.
